Healthy Eating for Life Video

Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning along with our partners presents the “Eat Healthy. Be Active.” Supplemental Music Activity videos. The music videos include five songs that can be used in a classroom or adapted for other settings. These songs are part of the “Eat Healthy. Be Active.” curriculum. The curriculum and corresponding kit were developed to assist caregivers of young children encourage and reinforce healthy behaviors such as eating healthy and being physically active. The “Eat Healthy. Be Active.” music videos, are supplemental tools for caregivers of young children to reinforce these important basic health concepts at an early age. We recommend that the music videos be used in conjunction with the curriculum and activity kit, but it can also be used as a stand-alone resource.

If you are interested in obtaining the corresponding curriculum and kit, they are available for loan (free of charge) at your local Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (CCR&R). A listing of the 14 CCR&Rs can be found on the Georgia Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies web site (http://www.gaccrra.org/contact.html).
