SFSP Sponsor Training
SFSP Program Training for New Sponsors
New Sponsor/New Program Contact training is a two-day session for new sponsors interested in participating in the program and for sponsors that have a new program contact. This training covers the application process, site identification and preparation, organization and management of the program, planning and serving meals, working with staff and food service management companies, monitoring sites, online claim submission, and program reviews.
SFSP Renewal Training for Sponsors
Renewal Sponsor Training is for returning sponsors that successfully operated the program during the previous fiscal year with no serious program issues. Training sessions are offered during late winter/early spring for all organizations that want to participate as sponsors in the SFSP.
