Curricula Models

Georgia’s Pre-K Program reviews and approves curriculum models for use in Pre-K classrooms every three to five years. This year, the curriculum review will coincide with the roll-out of the new Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) to ensure that the curriculum aligns with the standards.

When the GELDS are finalized (projected May 2013), Georgia’s Pre-K will announce a request for curriculum submissions, and companies may submit curriculum models for review. All currently approved curricula and curricula seeking approval will will begin the review process sometime during June and July 2013. More details about the time line and submission process will be posted as we release the GELDS and begin to finalize the review process.

NOTE: Pre-K classrooms must continue to use the currently approved curricula from the list during the 2013-2014 school year.

For more information, contact our Standards Coordinator, Laura Evans, at laura.evans@decal.ga.gov or (404) 656-4711.

For your convenience, currently approved curriculum companies have provided one-page flyers describing their approved curricula. These are listed below by company name.
