Curricula Models

In response to the recent revision and implementation of the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS), Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) is initiating a curriculum review process for Georgia’s Pre-K Program and Georgia’s birth to five early learning programs.

Curriculum authors and vendors may begin the submission process on Thursday, October 4, 2013. The submission window will be open from October 4, 2013 until November 8, 2013.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 15, 2013.

The purpose of the Georgia curriculum review and approval process is to identify curriculum models that support Georgia’s early learning programs and are optimally aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS). The end result of this process will be an approved curriculum list for Georgia’s Pre-K Programs and a recommended curriculum list for Georgia’s birth to five early learning programs.
