Before applying to participate in the CACFP, interested parties that wish to sign a direct agreement with Bright from the Start must attend Program Training, held once a month in either metro Atlanta or Macon. Child or adult centers that wish to participate in the CACFP under the sponsorship of an approved Administrative Sponsor and day care home providers, who are required to participate under a Day Care Home Sponsor, can obtain a list of approved sponsors from the using the "Search for Nutrition Programs" on the Bright from the Start homepage. Choose the Program type, and then select Sponsor Type and click Search. A list of Administrative and Day Care Home Sponsors will populate. Sponsors will provide pre-approval training and application materials. Sponsors will provide pre-approval training and applications to facilities.
